Stir-fried Chef Position Vacant @ Kiama Vietnamese Restaurant
Hanoi on Manning is looking for a creative, passionate, and enthusiastic stir-fried chef to join our kitchen team.
What we are looking for: a stir-fried chef with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Vietnamese restaurant with a good understanding of Hanoi-style food marinade, ingredients, and cooking; a team player with good communication skills and the ability to work in a busy environment.
You will need to:
Preparing the food for cooking, including making sauces for stir-frying dishes
Reviewing our menus, doing inventory and ordering
Ensuring standard portions and consistency of the quality of our dishes
Collaborating with management in monitoring food and staff costs
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment and keeping hygiene practices in the kitchen
This position is full-time with pay starting from $30 an hour plus superannuation and 4 weeks of paid holiday a year. Working hours are flexible and can be negotiated to suit your work-life balance.
